Leicester City will be without Ryan Bertrand and Ricardo Pereira for the Premier League clash with Aston Villa on Saturday.

The two continue to recover from their respective long-term injuries and will more than likely not be involved until the New Year however, the good news for the Foxes, is they have no fresh concerns ahead of the game.

New signing Wout Faes could be in line to make his Leicester debut on Saturday following the arrival of his visa.

The 24-year-old had missed out in the 5-2 defeat to Brighton but is now ready and available for selection.

What Brendan Rodgers has said

On Ricardo Pereira: “Sadly, Ricardo Pereira will be out for up to six months. He had his operation last night, and he’ll recover now, get strong again and come back better, I’m sure. He ruptured his Achilles.”

On Ryan Bertrand: “There’s no timeline at the moment. He’s awaiting an operation.”
