Aston Villa enjoyed a very active start to Steven Gerrard’s first summer transfer window and, after three weeks, have brought in four permanent arrivals.
Alongside Newcastle United, the Midlands club have completed the most signings in the Premier League so far, while a number of sides are yet to bolster their squads at all.

1. Nick Pope - Newcastle
Pope had been one of Burnley’s better players over the last few years and was always going to remain in the Premier League following their relegation, with Newcastle winning the race for the England international. 3. Diego Carlos - Aston Villa

4. Sven Botman - Newcastle
