Speaking after their win over Spurs, Glasner has said: “Congrats to the team. It was a great performance today in our situation, playing brave and with courage, pressing and giving Tottenham lots of challenges.
“We scored an amazing goal. I am very proud of the team and players with how they played today. All the credit to the players.”
Meanwhile, their defender Maxence Lacroix has said: "It feels unbelievable. I'm so happy. I'm so happy for the team, I'm so happy for the fans, for this character. We trained a lot, we showed a lot today and this is what the fans and the people want to see. This win, I think we deserve it.

He added: "Right now [the dressing room] is crazy. Everyone is happy because I think we worked hard to have this win. All the players know we have the quality to compete against this type of teams. Today we showed and we could score like three or four, but maybe next time."
Crystal Palace will want to hit some form now as they look to climb up the table after their tricky start. Their trip to Aston Villa is a chance to play some fringe players or youngsters in the cup should they wish to.
Pressure was starting to mount on Glasner so he will be relieved to have got his first win. That should give his team confidence as they prepare to head to the Midlands. Prior to his switch to London, he worked with Eintracht Frankfurt in Germany.
