The Albanian’s name will be familiar as he scored three across two matches against Villa for his old club, Legia Warszawa, in the UEFA Europa Conference League group stage.
Muçi stunned Emiliano Martinez in the first meeting in Poland as he netted twice before catching the eye at Villa Park with a thunderbolt strike beyond Robin Olsen. The 23-year-old’s form continued and he earned a winter transfer to Süper Lig outfit Beşiktaş, though he could be on the move yet again.

Hide AdTurkish publication Fanatik reports Villa have decided to make an official offer for Muçi after tracking the attacking midfielder’s progress. It’s claimed a bid of €15 million (£12.9 million) is being readied to test the resolve of Beşiktaş, with the offer set to be “on its way” to the Turkish giants imminently.
Muçi, a nine-time Albania international, has scored four goals in 14 appearances since joining Beşiktaş. Before that, the versatile forward, who can play through the centre or on either flank, registered 21 goals and 10 assists in 114 matches for Legia across three seasons.
Villa keen to add attacking depth
It’s been evident since the turn of the year that Emery is eager to add another forward to his squad, even after the successful acquisition of Morgan Rogers. Athletic Bilbao star Nico Williams has been heavily linked but his wage demands appear too significant, while Crystal Palace ace Michael Olise has emerged as a target.
Muçi has a differing profile from the others mentioned, suggesting Emery could be looking for multiple signings to bolster the front line. Nimble and effective at dribbling out of tight spaces, the former Legia man could be a handy option off the bench, especially if Villa qualify for next season’s UEFA Champions League.
