Aston Villa winger Jaden Philogene-Bidace is the subject of interest from a whole host of clubs in the Championship, Turkey and across Europe, according to a reputable report.

The surprise package of the Villans’ pre-season exhibition in the United States of America, Philogene has given manager Unai Emery plenty to ponder about over the next few weeks.

Starting all three Premier League Summer Series fixtures, the 21-year-old relished the opportunity by displaying confidence, explosive speed and impressive ball-carrying.

Philogene opened the scoring in the 2-0 win over Fulham in Orlando as he struck a low Lucas Digne cross first-time, firing between the legs of Cottagers goalkeeper Bernd Leno.

The Athletic, pondering on the youngster’s breakout performances in the US, claims Philogene has gained concrete interest from multiple clubs in the Championship.

It’s also reported that four clubs in Europe have “prepared permanent deals” for the winger, including Süper Lig outfit Fenerbahçe and another team from Turkey.

Just over a fortnight ago, TEAMtalk detailed an offer from Fenerbahçe had already been launched but was rejected by Villa, with Emery wanting a closer look at the player.

This follows a claim from Stoke on Trent Live last month, stating the Potters want to bring Philogene back to bet365 Stadium following a six-month loan during the 2021/22 campaign.

All the interest has put the player, club and Emery in a tricky position, with a decision required rather sharpishly with the start of the 2023/24 season now not far away.

Philogene, a Villa academy graduate and former England U20 international, has 55 senior club appearances to his name, including 48 in the Championship.

Able to play on either flank or through the middle as an attacking midfielder, Philogene has scored six goals and contributed one assist at a senior level.
