A new study has revealed the most expensive teams to watch in the Premier League this season.
Research conducted by kingcasinobonus.uk analysed the cost of tickets, merchandise and parking as well as food and beverages. These factors were used to indicate which team is the most expensive and which is the cheapest football team in the Premier League to watch.
Aston Villa and Leicester City are the only Midlands clubs to feature in the top 10 list. In terms of merchandise, previosu resarch showed that Villa have the eighth most expensive adult shirt in the Premier League, with the shirts costing £65 - the same as Leeds United and West Ham United.
Bet let’s see where they rank when ticket prices, parking and food and beverage prices at Villa Park is also thrown into the mix. The reserch has totalled up the price of a club’s matchday ticket, a season ticket, the cost of a home shirt, cost of a pint at the stadium, parking at the stadium and the cost of a pie at the ground to work out the overall cost index of each Premier League club.

1. Arsenal - cost index: 42.50

2. Tottenham Hotspur - cost index: 41.66
Arsenal’s North London rivals are second on the list. . Tottenham have the most expensive season ticket in the Premier League (£2025) yet a slightly cheaper average ticket cost of £49. A home shirt will set you back £75 direct from their shop, which is one of the more expensive shirts. 3. Chelsea - cost index: 39.97
This season Chelsea has been in the news for spending lots of money, with over $600 million spent on transfers. However, fans are also going to be spending more money than many other teams as they are the third most expensive team to follow in the Prem. The average ticket is one of the pricier at £59.20 and season tickets are £1250. Home shirts from the Chelsea shop are £74.95 which is the second most expensive, and a pint is above the league average costing £5.70. | Getty Images
