Watch: Ozzy Osbourne stars in brilliant Aston Villa kit launch video
Ozzy Osbourne has featured in Aston Villa’s new home kit-launch video for the 2024/25 Premier League campaign.
The Prince of Darkness made a surprise appearance in Villa’s promotion video alongside his Black Sabbath band mate and fellow Villa fan Geezer Butler, as well as players including Emi Martinez and John McGinn.

Hide AdOzzy was born in Birmingham and grew up in Aston as a child, living on Lodge Road, just around the corner from Villa Park.
In the video, Ozzy speaks to Butler over the phone and says: “Let’s play Villa Park”, before cheering on the Villa, and shouting: “Sharon, have you seen my preds”? referring to the classic Adidas predator football boots.
Unai Emery and Ollie Watkins also appear in the video, which you can watch below, with Geezer also making an appearance.
Sabbath’s iconic tune Paranoid features as the backing track. The club says the new Adidas home kit is a stylish tribute to Villa's past and features the special ‘AV 150’ symbol in elegant calligraphy on the back of the shirt.

It is adorned with the new club crest and includes solid white shorts, signature blue socks, an ‘1874’ sign-off and adidas’ three-stripes branding on the shoulders and around the collar.
