Morgan Sanson call made with Ramsey rested: Aston Villa predicted XI vs West Ham United

An important team selection awaits Steven Gerrard as Villa look to make it four huge wins in a row.

Aston Villa are back in Premier League action on Sunday afternoon when they travel to London to take on West Ham United.

It’s a rapid turnaround for the two sides who both were last in action on Thursday evening - Villa with that big victory over Leeds United whilst the Hammers were on the end of a 1-0 defeat to Sevilla of La Liga in the Europa League.

The trip to the London Stadium will no doubt prove to be the toughest test for Steven Gerrard and his men who have been on such a fine run of form in the last few weeks.

Three wins in a row with nine goals scored and zero conceded has helped catapult the claret & blue into the top half of the table in the early stages of March and at current, they show no signs of slowing down.

But the next five games, all against opponents above them, will show us just what this Villa side are made of. If they can keep the momentum going, there’s no telling just what position they could finish the season in.

For one of the biggest matches of the year so far, here’s the starting line-up we think Gerrard will call upon to get the job done.
