Aston Villa manager Steven Gerrard has, as expected, fielded a very strong team for their FA Cup round three clash with Manchester United.
The Villa boss emphasised the importance of this competition in his pre-match press conference and it’s reflected in the side that line-up at Old Trafford.

Hide AdEmiliano Martinez retains his place in goal with the regular back four of Matty Cash, Tyrone Mings, Ezri Konsa and Matt Targett all starting.
John McGinn, Douglas Luiz and Jacob Ramsey are the middle men whilst Danny Ings plays up top with Ollie Watkins and Emi Buendia either side of him.
United on the other hand are without Cristiano Ronaldo who is without a place in the matchday squad at all.
Both teams are going for it though. It has all the ingredients to be a classic.
