Ndidi and Bertrand are already confirmed out for the fixture, whilst Jamie Vardy is also a doubt, although the striker could make an unlikely return dependent on how he responds to his last round of injections on his knee injury.

Villa team news

Lucas Digne is expected to be the only absentee for Villa after picking up a problem in the 4-0 defeat to Spurs.

Head-to-head record

The Foxes have the better of the two historically, winning 44 times to Villa’s 36 with 25 draws.
