A man was taken to hospital after having a traffic cone thrown at him outside Villa Park following Aston Villa’s game against Leeds United on Friday (January 13) night.
Three people were arrested outside the ground after Villa’s 2-1 win over Leeds, as the 63-year-old was injured after a being hit by the cone.

He was taken to hospital for treatment following the incident. West Midlands Police said his injuries are not believed to be serious.
Station Road was closed after the game and a cordon was erected outside the ground while officers investigated the incident.

Three men in their 30s have been arrested on suspicion of assault and are currently in custody.
A statement from the force, read: “Three people were arrested following the Aston Villa v Leeds football match yesterday (Friday 13 January).
“A 63-year-old man was injured after a traffic cone was thrown, hitting him. The man was taken to hospital for treatment. His injuries are not believed to be serious.
