Paris Saint-Germain and France forward Kylian Mbappe has been spotted carrying on the banterous ‘feud’ between himself and Argentina goalkeeper Emiliano Martinez. The pair have been in a bit of a squabble ever since they faced one another in World Cup final back in December and it is still going, it seems.

It all began when Martinez decided to celebrate in a rather odd manner after being handed the Golden Glove award, as he held the trophy to his midriff and thrust the air. Soon after, the Aston Villa star, celebrating in the changing room, asked for a ‘moment of silence’ for the defeated Mbappe.

Martinez then proceeded to mock Mbappe even further as he held aloft a doll with Mbappe’s face on it during the victory parade in Buenos Aires. Mbappe, who scored a hat-trick to help the World Cup final go the distance, refused to react to Martinez’s antics as he remained composed in media interviews that followed. He also returned to PSG training early, displaying his professionalism.

Now though, just over a month on, a video has appeared that shows Mbappe deciding to keep the banter going as he re-enacts Martinez’s phallic celebration. Filmed outside PSG’s training ground with an award of his own, Mbappe was spotted holding a trophy in a similar region to Martinez.

Many thought the jokes had come to an end between the duo, but, much to the amusement of fans on social media, PSG’s star striker has kept it alive. It’s unclear when the viral video was recorded, but what it shows is Mbappe is likely not too phased by Martinez’s antics. Rather, the 24-year-old seems to find them just as entertaining as the Villa man himself.
