According to La Gazzetta dello Sport, Nice defender Jean-Clair Todibo is keen on a move to Turin. He wants to reunite with his former teammate Khephren Thuram, who made the move to the Allianz Stadium earlier this month.

Todibio was set to join Manchester United this summer with an offer of €40 million accepted but UEFA regulations meant the move could not go through. Earlier this month, a £25m bid from West Ham was rejected for the France international.

Aston Villa are also said to have admired the player. They have been scouting him over the last few months and were said to have joined the race, but it seems Todibio is destined to move to Italy.

Todibio is not the only player linked with a move to Aston Villa that could be heading to Juventus. La Gazzetta are also reporting that Juventus have made contact with Roma about signing Tammy Abraham.

According to the Italian publication, Roma are demanding £30m for Abraham, but Juventus only want to sign him on loan.  The 26-year-old has just come off an injury hit-campaign which saw him limited to eight league games and only one goal.

Despite his injury, Daily Telegraph journalist Matt Law said that Aston Villa are in the market for a striker this summer and that Abraham could be ‘attainable’. The Ivory Coast international described Villa as an ‘amazing club’ and has spoken fondly of his time at Villa Park.

In an interview with JD Sport back in May, he said: “Aston Villa? Probably my best experience. When I look back, I had no regrets.

“It was an amazing club. I didn’t realise how massive they were until I signed. The promotion was probably one of the best moments of my career so far..”
