Watch: Jack Grealish’s heartwarming gesture to teenager with cerebral palsy - Man City player responds to fan

Former Aston Villa skipper Jack Grealish met young Finlay this week after receiving a letter from the teenager

Former Aston Villa captain Jack Grealish surprised one of his biggest fans this week – and even let him choose his next goal celebration.

Manchester City posted the clip on social media which showed City supporter Finlay, 11, meeting his idol Grealish. Finlay, like Jack’s younger sister, Holly, has cerebral palsy.

Young Finlay sent the Solihull-born midfieder a letter to express his gratitude, writing: “I wish there were more people in the world just like you who treat people with disabilities the same as anyone else.

“It makes me really happy when I see that you, a famous footballer, knows what it’s like to live with people with cerebral palsy. You’re my hero and the best big brother to your sister. My dream is to meet you and give you a high five. Imagine meeting your idol!”

After initially writing back and sending him a signed City shirt, featuring ‘Grealish 10’, the Engand winger went and met Finlay where he plays every Monday as part of the disability football team.

At the end of the heartwarming clip, Grealish tells Finlay he can select his next goal celebration. Watch the clip above.
