Aston Villa are gearing up for one of their toughest games of the season, as Pep Guardiola's Manchester City will be in town to do battle at Villa Park on Wednesday, December 6. Last time out Villa rescued a late point against a resurgent Bournemouth outfit at the Vitality Stadium. Antoine Semenyo opened the scoring for the hosts, only for Villa to find an equaliser ten minutes later through Leon Bailey.

Bournemouth re-took the lead in the second half thanks to a strike from Dominic Solanke, stunning Villa - however, Unai Emery's men were able to find a late equaliser as their top goalscorer, Ollie Watkins, spared their blushes.

Meanwhile, Manchester City took on Tottenham last time out in a thrilling 3-3 draw at the Etihad Stadium. It was a game filled with controversy - City's goals were scored by Phil Foden and Jack Grealish - their first came by the way of a Son Heung-min own goal. Son scored at the other end just before this - and his goal was followed up by two equalising goals from Giovani Lo Celso and Dejan Kulusevski, respectively.

The game between Villa and City will run concurrently with Manchester United vs Chelsea - both games are due to kick off at 8:15pm GMT, with coverage starting at 8pm.
