Here is an alternative Premier League table based on each team’s highest goal contributor.

Aston Villa’s Premier League campaign came to an end just over a week ago as they were beaten by Manchester City in a dramatic 3-2 thriller.

Steven Gerrard’s side finished their up-and-down season in 14th place - 10 points above the relegation zone and eleven from a European spot.

Villa scored 52 goals in the Premier League, with only the top eight teams bagging more over the course of the season.

For a bit of fun, we have decided to take a look at how the table would have looked on the final day if it was decided by each team’s player with the most goal contributions.
