The latest injury news and return dates on the Aston Villa treatment table, including Boubacar Kamara, Diego Carlos and Philippe Coutinho.
Aston Villa have had their fair share of injury concerns this season and the bad luck has continued, with Boubacar Kamara the latest key player to be placed on the treatment table.
The Frenchman was forced to be substituted in the 1-0 win over Crystal Palace last weekend, following a reckless challenge from Eagles midfielder Cheick Doucoure.
Limping off the field, it looked worrisome for Kamara, but Unai Emery was unsure of the extent of the injury. The Spaniard merely said he hoped a return would be soon.
The head coach’s right-hand man Damia Vidagany added, however, that it was “maybe the joint between the two bones in the external part of his leg”.
Now, a few days on, there is some more clarity around the situation with some reputable reports updating supporters about Kamara – as we will detail later on in this article.
The midfielder isn’t the only one sidelined at the moment, though, as Philippe Coutinho, Diego Carlos, Leander Dendoncker and Jed Steer are also recovering from their own problems.
With that in mind, here are all the latest Aston Villa injury updates, with estimated return fixtures. See below.
