The four Premier League clubs in the Midlands all endured difficult starts to the season, however things are gradually looking up. Aston Villa have turned things around since Unai Emery’s arrival and now sit ten points above the relegation zone.
Nottingham Forest and Wolves have crept up the table with a recent upturn in form, while Leicester will be hoping their recent win over Villa can kickstart their campaign.
While Emery’s side have struggled defensively this term, their goal return hasn’t been quite as disappointing - so it comes as no surprise to see their attackers all included in the Midlands’ Team of the Season.
