Final Premier League table predicted after fresh twists: Villa consistent, Spurs finish well, Leeds survive

There have been some shock recent results in the Premier League that could prove vital in the run-in.

If there’s one thing the Premier League has done this season and even more so in recent weeks, it’s live up to its name as the best league in the world.

Anyone can beat anyone on any given day and that has proved as true as ever throughout February and March.

We’ve seen Manchester City hammer Manchester United before being held at home to Crystal Palace. Burnley beat Tottenham before then losing comfortably to fellow struggler’s Brentford and Aston Villa went on their best run of the season, winning three in a row - scoring nine and conceding none in that time.

It’s been exciting, especially at either end of the league with both the title race and relegation battle looking as though they will go right down to the wire.

With those results in mind and things looking as unpredictable as ever, we’ve turned to FiveThirtyEight’s supercomputer to see how they’ve got the table finishing up.

Some teams keep their place whereas others take big shifts up and down the league.
