Atletico Madrid star Joao Felix’s ‘future’ could be at Aston Villa
Atletico Madrid superstar and 41-cap Portugal international Joao Flex has been tenuously linked with a move to Aston Villa in the summer window. This comes from a post on X (formerly Twitter) from Villa Report, who wrote: “João Félix’s future? Watch out for Aston Villa.”
Should Felix make the jump to Villa Park, it would not be the first time he has played in the Premier League. The 24-year-old also turned out for Chelsea on a loan basis in 2023 - he made 16 league appearances for the Blues, scoring four goals along the way.

Aston Villa’s Sebastian completes permanent transfer to Wrexham
Villa starlet Sebastian Revan has left the club to join Wrexham for an undisclosed fee in League One. He made a solitary senior team appearance during his time at Villa Park - his stint with the Villans was largely characterised by loan moves away from the club.
He joined Villa’s academy in 2012, back when he was just 11 years of age. Now, at the age of 21, he has decided it is time to move on. While at Villa, he enjoyed spells out on loan at clubs such as Grimbsy Town, Hereford FC and Rotherham United. Previously, he has also been called up to England’s U18s team.

“I’ll hopefully get some minutes and the opportunity to impress and get my season started. I want to help take the Club as high up the table as we can and add both goals and assists to my game and also the team’s.”
In the meantime, Wrexham head coach Phil Parkinson said: “Seb is a player that stood out for us from his performances in the Championship and he is only going to improve with us. He offers us great versatility because he can play both on the right and the left. He’s a good young player and we’re delighted to have him on board.”
