Chelsea vs Aston Villa injury news - 11 ruled out and 3 doubts

All the latest injury news surrounding Aston Villa and Chelsea as they prepare to face off in the FA Cup.

Aston Villa are back in action this weekend, with attention turning back to the FA Cup. Unai Emery's men have enjoyed a superb Premier League campaign so far, and they will view the FA Cup as a potential source of silverware.

Though, the draw hasn't been particularly kind to Villa, with a trip to Stamford Bridge to face Chelsea awaiting in the fourth round. Villa do already boast a victory at the Bridge this season however with Ollie Watkins netting a 73rd minute back in September.

One player that won't be available is Kaine Kesler-Hayden. He returned to Villa Park earlier this month from a loan spell at Plymouth Argyle but he is cup tied. He played 13 minutes in the Pilgrim's 3-1 win over Sutton United and as a result will not be available for this match.

Earlier this week, Serbian right-back Kosta Nedeljkovic finalised his move to Villa. He signed a deal worth up to £7.5m but he won't feature either as he has rejoined Red Star Belgrade on loan until the end of the season.

Emery might consider making some changes given Villa are doing well in the league and are also in the knock-out rounds of the UEFA Europa Conference League too. There's an uncertainty surrounding Jhon Duran who has been linked with a move to Chelsea, and they could be afforded a chance to see what they could potentially buy in the final days of the window.

Ahead of that clash, we have rounded up the latest injury news surrounding both clubs, with Chelsea having been in action on Tuesday night, defeating Middlesbrough in the second leg of their Carabao Cup semi-final, progressing to the final in the process.
