Aston Villa midfielder Jacob Ramsey is among the early front-runners to be awarded the PFA Young Player of the Year award following the conclusion of the 22/23 season.
Ramsey was able to wipe the floor at Villa’s own ceremony at the end of the last campaign, picking up both young player of the year and players’ player of the year for his efforts throughout the season.
But now he’s among the favourites to go one better and land himself a spot as PFA Young Player of the Year in 2023.
PFA, or ‘Professional Footballers’ Association,’ for those unaware, recognises the outstanding performers from every division and is voted for by the players.
Liverpool’s Mohamed Salah picked up the award for men’s player of the year in 2022 whilst Manchester City’s Phil Foden was handed the young player honour.
Ramsey was atually among the nominees for this season’s award following his breakthrough year at Villa Park but he is once again being tipped to be in and around the very best come the end of 22/23.
Here’s the latest odds as of July 6.
