Aston Villa fans will remember the 2018/19 season with great fondness as Dean Smith’s side were promoted back to the Premier League after three long seasons in the Championship.
A 2-1 victory over Derby County at Wembley in the play-off final sealed the deal and gave supporters a day to remember for the rest of their lives.
Despite that particular achievement being just four years ago, there are just three players who were at Wembley that day who are still at the club.
So where exactly are the 17 players who featured in that squad now, in 2023? BirminghamWorld has taken a look so you don’t have to.

1. Jed Steer
