Aston Villa youngster Finn Azaz has been awarded Sky Bet League Two’s ‘Young Player of the Season’ accolade at Sunday evening’s EFL awards.
Azaz, 21, joined Villa last summer from west midlands rivals West Bromwich Albion but was immediately loaned out to League Two side Newport County where he has remained since.

The 21-year-old became an instant fan favourite for the Welsh outfit and has been a key part of the team in their bid for a play-off place.
Missing just three games all season through injury, the youngster has made 43 appearances in all competitions for the Exiles, scoring six goals and providing seven assists.
Like many of Villa’s other players that have impressed out on loan, Azaz will link back up with the squad this summer for Steven Gerrard to assess and decide upon the next best step for his development.
