A statement from The FA reads: “The FA alleged that Aston Villa Women failed to ensure its players conducted themselves in an orderly fashion during both the 122nd minute and following the final whistle.

“Aston Villa Women denied both charges but an independent Regulatory Commission subsequently found one of them to be proven and imposed the club’s fine following a hearing.”

The club are yet to put out a statement to acknowledge The FA’s decision.
