Atletico Madrid star Luis Suarez is understood to be mulling over his options ahead of his contract expiring at the end of this month.

The Uruguayan is said to have options ahead of next week, and The Athletic claim he remains in ‘contact’ with Gerrard and Villa.

But aware this could be the last move of his career, Suarez is taking his time to decide where he wants to play.

The former Liverpool frontman has said he wants to remain in Europe, feeling he can still compete in one of the top leagues.

Meanwhile, ExWHUemployee has claimed clubs are currently ‘waiting’ for the striker’s decision.

Bassey speaks

Rangers star Calvin Bassey has attracted interest from Villa this summer, and there have been reports claiming a deal could be close.

In the meantime, Bassey has taken to social media, suggesting a stay at Rangers could be on the cards, in spite of reports.

“Thank God for what a season it has been for me personally and for the team. It’s had it’s highs and lows, we keep fighting,” he wrote.
