Kick off is fast approaching for Aston Villa vs Wolverhampton Wanderers as both sides hope to get one over their local rivals in the Premier League. Villa will be desperate to get revenge over Wolves, who managed a derby double last campaign. The Wanderers won 2-1 at Molineux and were at the right end of a 3-2 thriller at Villa Park.

Things are very different several months on, though, with both sides taking on new managers since they last met. Both teams have also shown recent improvements under their new head coaches – especially the Lions with Unai Emery now at the helm.

The former Arsenal boss will be eager to continue his fine early form as Villa manager having led his new side to three wins in his opening four Premier League fixtures in charge. Wolves, meanwhile, have won one and lost one under ex-Real Madrid man Julen Lopetegui.

If Villa win tonight they could propel themselves to as high as 11th, as long as other results go their way. Wolves can head up and out of the relegation zone with a victory. Without further ado, here is the confirmed team news for tonight’s clash.
