Hide AdCommencing battle for a spot in the fifth phase of the world’s oldest domestic cup competition, both Villa and Spurs will be desperate for a positive result. Today’s hosts are undoubtedly the favourites given the two sides’ contrasting form and confidence but the FA Cup is famous for the regularity of its upsets.

Villa boss Unai Emery has opted for two changes from the starting XI that was defeated 2-0 away at Wolverhampton Wanderers last weekend as Lamare Bogarde and Ollie Watkins make way for Leon Bailey and Donyell Malen. Marcus Rashford and Marco Asensio, both named on the bench, will have to wait to make their full debuts after signing on deadline day from Manchester United and Paris Saint-Germain.
Tottenham head coach Ange Postecoglou, meanwhile, has swapped out four of the players who started the midweek 4-0 defeat to Liverpool in the Carabao Cup semi-final.
