Aston Villa vs Southampton team news: Emery and Martin name lineups in Premier League

Unai Emery and Russell Martin have named their starting lineups and substitutes ahead of this afternoon’s Premier League clash at Villa Park.

Kick-off is fast approaching for what is set to be a blustery encounter in B6 with Storm Darragh bringing wind gusts of over 60mph. Everton vs Liverpool was postponed earlier today but the conditions in Birmingham are better than in Merseyside, allowing this match to go ahead as planned.

Villa will be eager to make it two home wins on the bounce after beating Brentford 3-1 on Wednesday night. Today’s hosts are the heavy favourites as Southampton are rock bottom of the Premier League with just five points from 14 matches.
