Aston Villa manager Steven Gerrard has made three changes from the side that played out the dull stalemate with Leicester City last week.

Lucas Digne is a shock inclusion from the off after making a swift recovery from injury and Tim Iroegbunam is awarded with a first start at just 18-years-old.

Emiliano Martinez keeps is the mainstay in goal with Matty Cash, Tyrone Mings Calum Chambers and Digne making up the back four.

The man that signed his big new contract this week, Jacob Ramsey, is in the middle of the park partnered by young Iroegbunam and John McGinn.

Leon Bailey keeps his place in the eleven despite a below par performance at the King Power and he’s alongside Philippe Coutinho and Ollie Watkins.

Emi Buendia has to settle for a place on the bench against his former side.
