Aston Villa vs Man City team news as Unai Emery and Pep Guardiola name starting lineups

Villa and City are separated by just one point ahead of this evening's meeting under the lights but things could look very different by the end of the night.

Unai Emery is one win away from equalling the club record of 14 successive home league victories – a tally he'll be desperate to meet to bed himself even deeper into the history books.

Pep Guardiola's side, meanwhile, are looking to close the gap to league leaders Arsenal following their dramatic late 4-3 win over Luton Town on Tuesday evening.
