Aston Villa vs HSK Zrinjski team news: Starting lineups confirmed for Europa Conference League clash

Team news live from Villa Park for Thursday night’s Europa Conference League clash between Aston Villa and HSK Zrinjski.

Aston Villa and and HSK Zrinjski Mostar have both named their starting line-ups and substitutes for tonight’s UEFA Europa Conference League clash at Villa Park.

Villa are in need of a victory after suffering a defeat to Legia Warsaw in Poland in their opening group stage match. Zrinjski Mostar battled from three goals down to win 4-3 against Dutch outfit AZ Alkmaar in their first game.

Villa have been dealt a few injury blows going into the match. Club record signing Moussa Diaby was ruled out, along with Jacob Ramsey who netted against Brighton at the weekend, and midfielder Boubacar Kamara. As a result, the hosts have named less substitutes than the visitors.

Aston Villa team news

Unai Emery makes six changes to the side that beat Brighton & Hove Albion 6-1 last Saturday. The only survives are Emi Martinez, Ezri Konsa, Lucas Digne, John McGinn and Nicolo Zaniolo.

Under-21's midfielder Tommi O'Reilly is named amongst the substitutes. The 19-year-old has made six appearances in the Premier League 2 this season with five assists and a goal in six games.

HSK Zrinjski Mostar team news

Zrinjski have made two changes from the team that beat AZ Almaar. Aldin Hranovic and Matej Senic come in for right-back Kerim Memija and Andrija Balic.

Nemanja Bilbija leads the line, and is the one to watch following his 24 league goals last year. The 32-year-old got three goals in four UECL qualifying games.

HSK Zrinjski (4-2-3-1): Maric; Ticinovic, Senic, Jakoljevic, Corluka; Radic, Canadija; Cuze, Ivancic, Hranovic; Bibija (C).

Zrinjski subs: Sefo, Nir On, MArin, Zlomislic, Sabljic, Kis, Balic, Malekinusic, Misic, Prskalo, Memija, Kozuj.
