Aston Villa vs Everton team news: Starting lineups announced for Premier League clash

Kick-off is fast approaching for Aston Villa’s first home game of the 2023/24 season, against Everton.

Unai Emery and Sean Dyche have named their respective starting lineups for the Premier League encounter at Villa Park.

It was a devastating start to the campaign for the men in claret and blue as they were thumped 5-1 by Newcastle United on the opening weekend.

The Toffees, meanwhile, suffered a narrow 1-0 defeat against Fulham despite dominating the chances at Goodison Park.

Villa are unbeaten in their last eight meetings with Everton, winning six and drawing two. Emery will be hoping to continue that run.
