The team news is out for Aston Villa vs Brentford in the Premier League.

Unai Emery and Thomas Frank have named their starting lineups and substitutes for this evening’s Premier League clash at Villa Park.

Both teams come into this fixture with a point to prove. The hosts, without a win in eight games across all competitions, are determined to break free from their rut. The visitors, on the other hand, are yet to earn a victory on the road this season.

Despite their troubles away from home, Brentford have scored the equal second-most goals in the division so far this term (26), so they’re definitely a team to watch out for. Villa have conceded 12 goals in their last five outings, too.

Emery has opted for two changes to the XI that lost 3-0 away at Chelsea on Sunday, swapping in Tyrone Mings and Leon Bailey for Pau Torres and Jaden Philogene. Crucially, goalkeeper Emi Martinez starts despite suffering a hairline fracture to one of his fingers at Stamford Bridge. Here are the two teams in full.

Aston Villa vs Brentford lineups

Villa XI: Martinez (GK); Cash, Konsa, Mings, Digne; Kamara, Tielemans, McGinn, Bailey; Rogers, Watkins.

Villa subs: Olsen (GK), Maatsen, Pau, Carlos, Bogarde, Barkley, Buendia, Philogene, Duran.
