Galatasaray manager Okan Buruk has confirmed that Nicolo Zaniolo is heading to Aston Villa amid an ongoing transfer process.

Hide Ad“The process regarding Zaniolo continues. He’s a player who wants to play in the Premier League, we respect that. If the interests of our club are going to be met, it seems like this transfer will happen,” he told NTV Spor, via Sport Witness.
“It seems like it will be in the interests of the club, [but] I don’t know what will happen [with Zaniolo]. We’re going to make reinforcements to our squad again.”
Archer bid rejected
Villa are said to have rejected a bid for forward Cameron Archer, but they may yet allow him to leave the club.

Hide AdAccording to Football Insider, Villa have rejected a bid from Sheffield United worth £10million but Unai Emery is said to be willing to allow the forward to leave before the end of the transfer window. Villa’s asking price is not clear, but £10million doesn’t meet their valuation, according to the report.
Archer is unlikely to find regular first-team appearances at Villa this season, but his stock remains pretty high after a loan spell with Middlesbrough last season. Sheffield United are hoping Archer can form part of their bid to beat the Premier League drop this season.
