Striker was eyed by West Brom
West Brom reportedly made a move to sign Keinan Davis from Aston Villa in the last transfer window.

However, the Baggies made a ‘late attempt’ to lure him to the Hawthorns but were unsuccessful, as detailed in a report by The Athletic.

Cameron Archer has been left out of the England U21s squad.
The youngster, who was a hit on loan at Preston North End last season, has been overlooked by the Three Lions.
Nevertheless, Jacob Ramsey has been named in Lee Carsley’s squad, whereas Aaron Ramsey and Tim Iroegbunam have been called up for the U20s.
Pundit predicts score
Pundit Paul Merson has tipped Aston Villa to pick up a big win tonight.
He thinks the hosts will beat the Saints 2-0.

They got an unexpected 1-1 draw against Manchester City and their game against Leicester City was called off, so this is a good chance for them to get all three points. It’s always a different kind of game when you go into it expected to win, but I think Villa will get a positive result.”
