Gerrard’s men are just two points off the top half, and with games against Burnley and Manchester City to come, they will be hoping to bag at least six points to finish in the top 10.

Villa are still said to be interested in pulling off a deal for Leeds United star Kalvin Phillips.

Hide AdThe holding midfielder has been linked with a move to the Midlands for some time,and according to the Daily Mail, Leeds face the very real prospect of losing him this summer.
It’s reported that if Leeds - who are currently in the bottom three - suffer a drop to the Championship, it’s all-but certain Phillips will move on.
And Villa are listed as one of the clubs who are likely to actively pursue a move this summer if that scenario plays out.

One player being linked with an exit from Villa is Matty Cash.

Hide AdCash has impressed at Villa Park since his arrival in 2020, and according to Gazzetta dello Sport via SportWitness, Serie A club Atalanta are now eyeing the full-back.
Atalanta are known for playing with attacking wing-backs, and the Poland international certainly fits into that mould.
The Bergamo based club recently appointed former Leicester City staff member Lee Congerton as their head of international development.
So it might just add up that Cash could become a target for Atalanta this summer.
