Aston Villa’s Premier League fixtures confirmed for 2024/25 season

The official fixture release day is finally here ahead of the new campaign, incorporating newly promoted sides Leicester City, Ipswich Town and Southampton.

Aston Villa now know their opponents for the opening weekend, Boxing Day and the run-in, as well as the dates for the two derby clashes against Wolverhampton Wanderers.

Unai Emery’s side will have to wait until August 29 to find out similar information for their upcoming UEFA Champions League campaign, but they are now aware of their Premier League schedule.

Aston Villa key dates 2024/25

Opening weekend: West Ham United (A) – August 17.

Boxing Day: Newcastle United (A) – December 26.

Derby games: Wolves (H) - September 21; Wolves (A) - February 1.

Run-in: Newcastle United (H); Manchester City (A); Fulham (H); Bournemouth (A); Tottenham Hotspur (H); Manchester United (A).

Final day: Manchester United (A) – May 25.
