Aston Villa are now preparing for a tough-looking clash with Liverpool as they look to continue their solid start to the season.
Unai Emery’s men have quickly forgotten their opening day defeat to Newcastle United, winning twice in the league and twice in the Conference League qualifiers since. Villa have looked sharp and dangerous in their five-at-the-back formation, but they will face a tough clash against a Liverpool side who beat Newcastle United with 10 men last weekend.

Villa’s undisputed number one should return from injury in time. Emery has said: “Emi Martinez trained this morning, tomorrow the last training is going to be important for him to play or not. Hopefully yes. Tomorrow we are going to prepare the for match and be ready for Sunday.”
2. CB - Ezri Konsa
Konsa looks more comfortable in the back three.
