Aston Villa are back in Premier League action on Sunday afternoon as they travel to the capital to take on Chelsea at Stamford Bridge.
Unai Emery’s side were dealt a confidence blow midweek as they lost 3-2 to Legia Warsaw in the Europa Conference League but there’s now an opportunity to make amends.
Even with that defeat, Villa are still on much more of a high than Chelsea, who are well down in 14th place with just five points from an available 15.
The arrivals of Mauricio Pochettino and over £400 million worth of new signings have failed to have the desired impact so far and the mood is low.
Villa will be eager to take advantage of the situation and add to their own strong start, potentially propelling themselves into the top six.
Rotation is expected from the lineup that took on Legia, while there are also some big decisions to make following the returns of Jacob Ramsey and Alex Moreno.

Villa appeared to miss the Spaniard midweek and will be eager to get him straight back in the XI. Could be vital this term.
