Aston Villa are said to be looking to add youth to their squad - to do so, the Villans could look to bring Manchester United youngster Harry Amass to the club on a permanent basis.
At the age of just 17, Amass’ best years are still well ahead of him. He has yet to make a senior team appearance for the Red Devils, but has been named on the bench on a handful of occasions.

Furthermore, he also noted that he is best suited to playing as a left wing back - given new head coach Ruben Amorim’s penchant for using wing backs, he could be given a chance to shine in United’s senior team. Should this happen, his chances of moving to Villa would undoubtedly decrease.
Speaking on Football Insider’s Inside Track podcast, Robinson said: “We know Aston Villa are an ambitious club. They’re always looking to progress under Unai Emery and they’ve got a very good recruitment team behind him at Villa Park.
“It doesn’t come as a surprise that they’re interested and have been keeping tabs on Amass. Amass will be questioning whether his pathway to first team football could be blocked at Old Trafford.

He’s well equipped for that wing back role, so I’d be very surprised if they were open to selling him.”
Robinson turned out for clubs such as Burnley, Blackburn Rovers and Tottenham Hotspur over the course of his extensive career - he also won 41 caps for England on the international stage.
