Aston Villa manager Steven Gerrard has been spotted dining out at a Birmingham curry house - where he ate £50 worth of prawns.
The Premier League boss tucked into two portions of a £24.75 Prawn Shan E Nisha when he visited Asha’s Restaurant in the city centre on Monday night (April 25).

He added: "It was a pleasure and an honour to welcome such a sporting great to our restaurant and he seemed to enjoy the food and have a nice time.

"He said he had never eaten here before but had heard good things and that he really loved Indian food - maybe that’s why he came to Birmingham.
"He was with some friends I believe rather than the team and he called the waiter over after eating his prawns and ordered the same again.
