Aston Villa-linked striker to make America move?

Aston Villa-linked Luis Suarez is reportedly a target for MLS side LA Galaxy.

The striker was said to be on Gerrard’s radar over the summer along with European pair Inter Milan and Sevilla, as per Fichajes.

As reported now by AS, Galaxy are now ‘interested’ in signing him, with David Beckham’s club Inter Miami also in the frame.

Midfielder remains a target for table toppers

Arsenal are still said to be keen on luring Douglas Luiz away from Villa Park.

The Gunners tried to land the midfielder in the summer transfer window but he ended up staying in the Midlands beyond the transfer deadline.

However, according to reporter Fabrizio Romano in his column with CaughtOffside, he ‘remains’ a potential target for the table topping Gunners:

“Douglas Luiz remains in the list but nothing has been decided yet for January.”

Nottingham Forest latest

Nottingham Forest are apparently going to stick with Steve Cooper for their next game against Aston Villa.

The Reds have made a poor start to life in the top flight following their promotion from the Championship.

According to the Independent, Cooper is expected in his job to remain for now.
