Aston Villa ace Douglas Luiz is reportedly a wanted man over in Italy.

The midfielder, who was linked with a departure in the last transfer window, is out of contract at the end of this season and is due to become a free agent next summer.

According to Italian news outlet CalcioMercato, Serie A pair Juventus and Roma are on his ‘trail’.

Defender update

Luca Digne may now be out of action for a while.

The former Everton man has picked up an ankle injury and is ‘expected’ to sidelined until the middle of next month, as per a report by the Express and Star.

Summer recruit Ludwig Augustinsson now has a chance to stake his claim for the left-back spot. The Sweden international is yet to play since his temporary switch from Sevilla.

Leeds latest

Leeds are 11th in the table as they prepare to take on Aston Villa this weekend on home soil.

Jesse Marsch’s men haven’t played since their 5-2 away loss at Brentford on 3rd September and have had to wait patiently for their return to the action.
