Villa, Leeds and Spurs are all interested in signing the West Ham teenager

Aston Villa are reportedly aiming to sign talented West Hame United youngster Sonny Perkins.

According to The Guardian, Leeds United and Tottenham Hotspur are also interested in the 18-year-old striker, who made three appearances in all competitions for the Hammers last season.

The report states that West Ham are struggling to convince Perkins to sign a new deal at the London Stadium, with his contract set to expire at the end of June, with several Premier League clubs being alerted to the situation.

The youngster scored 12 goals at under-23 level last season, and Villa could now battle it out with Leeds and Spurs for his signature, with Perkins reportedly set to leave ‘because of a disagreement over his wage demands’, according to the report.

Villa keen on Liverpool midfielder

Villa are also said to be keen on a deal for Liverpool star Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain.

The former Arsenal midfielder is expected to move on this summer, having to settle for a bit-part role this season.

As Liverpool get stronger and stronger, it’s clear Oxlade-Chamberlain has become surplus to requirements, and according to talkSPORT, he could be sold for just £10 million this summer.

The report claims Manchester United are eyeing a surprise move, but they are not the only interested party.
