Aston Villa star Matty Cash is set to miss a significant chunk of action after picking up an injury during international duty with Poland. It has now been reported that the right-back will miss three weeks of action, ruling him out for around half of the remaining season.

That's a big blow for Villa, who have a crucial Premier League run-in to come, as well as the Conference League knockout stage. Cash has been fit for almost the entire season so far, but this setback is a badly timed one.

Chelsea dealt injury blow

Wolves' European qualification rivals Chelsea have been dealt a significant injury blow in the form of summer arrival Romeo Lavia. Lavia suffered an injury in December and has made just one appearance for the Blues since his arrival.

The £53million signing has now suffered a fresh setback that will keep him sidelined for the rest of the season. It's a big blow for Chelsea and their European hopes, with the West London club currently in 11th place, two points behind Wolves and five points off the top seven.
