The Villains are at home under the lights on Wednesday night as they host the two time European Cup winners.

Aston Villa hope to end a five game winless run when they host Juventus at Villa Park in the UEFA Champions League on Wednesday (November 27).

Villa drew 2-2 with Crystal Palace on Saturday as they twice recovered from going a goal down with Ollie Watkins and Ross Barkley on target. Youri Tielemans did miss a penalty just before stoppage time in the first half.

Aston Villa team news

Ezri Konsa, Amadou Onana, Boubacar Kamara, and Jacob Ramsey did not feature against the Eagles last time out due to injury. Onana picked up a foot injury playing for Belgium whilst Konsa suffered a hip problem whilst on duty with England. Konsa and Onana's injuries have been described as 'small' by Unai Emery, and he didn't shut the door on them returning for the next match.

Boubacar Kamara and Jacob Ramsey are both dealing with hamstring injuries. Ramsey and Kamara both suffered their injuries in the defeat to Liverpool before the international break.

Matty Cash is in line to make his European debut having missed their previous matches. He returned at the weekend along with Ross Barkley.

Juventus team news

Dusan Vlahovic is a doubt for the visitors after he missed the goalless draw with Milan. He suffered a thigh injury whilst away on international duty with Serbia and is a doubt.

“I don’t know yet if he can return against Aston Villa, he won’t be there tomorrow," said Motta to Il Bianconero.

"We hope he returns as soon as possible. I have faith in my players; they know what we have to do. I think they will do it, both defensively and offensively. We all agree, it’s an obligation and not an option.”

Arkadiusz Milik has been sidelined since the start of the season with a knee injury. Last week he was given the green light to resume training after undergoing surgery, and should come back in the New Year.

Teenager Vasilije Adzic is sidelined with a thigh injury. He's been out since late October and that he will be out for a fortnight. Douglas Luiz who made a £42.35m move from Villa to Juventus is a doubt. He has a muscle problem which has kept him out for over a month.

Defender Juan Cabal is out for the season. He tore his anterior cruciate ligament injury and underwent surgery earlier this month. The Italian media report that because he suffered injury whilst on international duty with Colombia, they will receive compensation of up to €1.7m.

Centre back Bremer has also undergone surgery to repair his torn ACL in his left knee. Nico Gonzelez suffered a muscular injury at the start of October. He's not played a game since and is another absentee.

Out: Arkadiusz Milik, Bremer, Juan Cabal, Vasilije Adzic, Nico Gonzelez. Doubt: Douglas Luiz and Dusan Vhalovic.
