Philippe Coutinho was the first to complete his move, joining permanently after an impressive loan spell this season.

Boubacar Kamara followed his lead, joining from Marseille, and Villa were not content with just two.

Sevilla star Diego Carlos has also agreed to join, and Villa already look significantly stronger ahead of next season.

There could well be further arrivals, too, with the Lions keen to build on their survival this season, and keen to improve on their 14th place finish.

With that in mind, we have rounded up all the latest transfer news and rumours surrounding Villa Park.

Oxlade-Chamberlain links

Villa are said to be keen on a deal for Liverpool star Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain.

The former Arsenal midfielder is expected to move on this summer, having to settle for a bit-part role this season.

As Liverpool get stronger and stronger, it’s clear Oxlade-Chamberlain has become surplus to requirements, and according to talkSPORT, he could be sold for just £10 million this summer.

Villa are being linked with a move for Rangers youngster Rory Wilson.

According to the Express and Star, Gerrard is eyeing a raid of his former club, Rangers, with young striker Wilson being watched.

The 16-year-old has been on fire for the Scottish giants’ youth side, and it’s claimed he could be available for just £300,000 this summer.

Wilson scored 49 goals for Rangers’ youth side this season, and it’s no wonder Villa are interested in pulling off a bargain deal.
