Neither Aston Villa or Wolves were in Premier League action this weekend, but there were still plenty of results that could affect their final standing in the top flight table.

For Villa, wins for Newcastle United, Brentford, Southampton, and Brighton upped the pressure a tad on Steven Gerrard’s men, while Leicester City’s defeat to Newcastle United and West Ham’s draw against Burnley both played into Wolves’ hands.
