Arsenal vs Aston Villa team news: Arteta and Emery name lineups in Premier League

Mikel Arteta and Unai Emery have named their respective starting lineups and substitutes ahead of this afternoon’s crucial Premier League clash between Arsenal and Aston Villa.

Emery makes another return to Emirates Stadium, four-and-a-half years since he was relieved of his duties in north London. The Spaniard has lost just once in six managerial meetings against the Gunners, with two wins and three draws in the other five.

Nicolo Zaniolo is a surprise starter for the Villans today as Leon Bailey drops to the bench. Matty Cash and Clement Lenglet return to the matchday squad but only make the bench, meaning Ezri Konsa, Diego Carlos, Pau Torres and Lucas Digne make up the back four.
